This planning committee meeting was a marathon at 4 hours and 30 minutes. There were what was likely a record 163 people in the public “gallery” and there were dozens of members of the public who spoke – nearby neighbours, subject mater experts and those representing many organizations in the city. There were some in favour but more opposed.
The committee is in recess until Thursday, March 31 at 6pm.
