In person meetings at 99 York street have been suspended until further notice due to the global pandemic.
Monthly meetings have resumed on Zoom on the last Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. If you would like to
attend the monthly meetings please email a request for a zoom link to 350Kingston@gmail.com and you will
receive a link by email on the afternoon of the meeting.

Weekly Fridays for Future Climate Strikes – 11:30 to 12:30 at Princess St. and Wellington St. The first Friday of the month the protest is moved to the downtown RBC location (King & Princess) to protest bank financing of fossil fuels.

2024-04-04 7:00 pm. If you would like to get involved in organizing at the municipal level, SCAN! has helped to found a new working group called the Kingston Climate Action Coalition. It focuses on coordinating across grassroots organizations to hold the City of Kingston accountable to their climate promises and achieve concrete wins for people and the planet during this council term. We meet on the first Thursday of every month at 7PM, by Zoom.

RBC is complicit in human rights abuses and genocide at home and around the world. This includes the Coastal GasLink pipeline violating Wet’suwet’en rights, tar sands extraction causing devastating health impacts, and weapons and surveillance technology used in the genocide in Palestine. They profit from land theft and war, ecocide and genocide.

2023-04-18 Beyond Gas: Ontario’s Energy Future – Ontario Climate Emergency Campaign and the Cdn Assn Physicians for the Environment held an evening with celebrated Stanford energy researcher and author Dr Mark Z. Jacobson (No Miracles Needed) and local experts Jack Gibbons (Ontario Clean Air Alliance) and Gaby Kalapos (Climate Caucus and Ontario Clean Air Partnership) moderated by well-known health journalist Avis Favaro.

350 Kingston joined SCAN (Seniors for Climate Action Now) Kingston, QBACC (Queen’s Backing Action on the Climate Crisis) for a RBC Divestment Rally outside the downtown RBC to highlight the insane fact the RBC is Canada’s biggest lender to fossil fuel projects, lending 262 Billion Dollars since the Paris Climate Accord was signed in December 2015.
